Real-time discussion network with two separate IRC servers and web access through The Lounge, for public or private conversations from an IRC client or directly from the browser.

The IRC servers provided by Hostux give access to a historic chat protocol that remains useful for direct, simple and interoperable exchanges. The service is based on irc.gru.hostux.net and irc.gru.hostux.eu, and can be used from a classic IRC client or from the web. It remains a practical option when you want fast, text-focused communication without the weight of a modern all-in-one chat platform.

For browser access, Hostux provides The Lounge, a modern web IRC client that lets you join channels, exchange private messages and resume discussions without depending on a centralized chat platform. That makes IRC easier to approach even if you do not want to install a dedicated client immediately.
